Active
Physician
Physicians actively practicing medicine. Dues are $420 annually.
Semi-Retired
Physician
Physicians actively practicing medicine on a part-time basis (less than 20 hours per week) while transitioning into retirement. Dues are $200 annually
Associate Physician
Physicians who are currently serving in the United States armed forces, or are employed by a federal, state or local government agency. Dues are $145 annually.
Senior Physician
Physicians who are retired or practicing over the age of 70. Dues are $99 annually.
Out-of-State Physician
Physicians who hold a Florida license and reside in another state. This includes physicians enrolled in residency training programs outside the state of Florida applying for Florida licensure. Physicians MUST have a valid Florida medical license in order to qualify for membership with the Florida Medical Association. A provisional member status will be provided for physicians applying for Florida licensure. Dues are $99 annually.
Resident / Fellow
Physicians who are enrolled in residency or fellowship training programs in the state of Florida. Dues for this member category are complimentary and are only provided to physicians in training programs in Florida.
Student
Medical students pursuing a course of study leading to the degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy. There is a one-time dues fee of $23.00, which covers 4 years of membership while enrolled in a college of medicine.
