Prevention of Medical Errors Course
Provided by the Florida Medical Association and First Professionals Insurance Company. This 2-credit course satisfies the Prevention of Medical Errors requirement for the newly licensed physician who is completing the CME requirements for initial licensure in Florida or the physician who is completing the CME requirements for Florida license renewal.
Osteopathic physicians (DOs) may use this course for newly/initial licensure only. The Board of Osteopathic Medicine specifies that this CME renewal requirement be obtained by completion of a live participatory attendance course. Thus, this course IS NOT acceptable for osteopathic license renewal.
CME Designation:
The Florida Medical Association designates this educational activity for a maximum of two (2.0) AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
