CME Requirements for Relicensure
Approximately half of Florida Medical licenses expire every January 31st. To ease the burden on staff, DOH divided MDs into two groups. One group holds licenses that expire in even numbered years (2004, 2006, 2008, etc.), the other group in odd numbered years (2005, 2007, 2009, etc.)
Florida Osteopathic licenses expire on March 31st of every even numbered year (2004, 2006, 2008, etc.)
To determine the expiration date of your license, look for the date on the paper license sent to you by the Board of Medicine/Osteopathic Medicine or www.FLhealthSource.com to search for information about your license.
