2008 Session Dates - March 4 - May 2, 2008

Representing you and your patients before the Florida Legislature is the primary goal of the FMA Division of Governmental Affairs. The FMA develops and implements a legislative agenda, obtains bill sponsors, tracks over 400 bills, contacts Key Contact Physicians, develops effective grassroots activities and lobbies our bills for passage. The FMA actively works to stop any legislation that hurts physicians and patients.

Regulatory

The FMA is your voice before the Florida Board of Medicine, Department of Health, Agency for Health Care Administration and other state agencies on matters affecting physicians and patients. The FMA strives to keep you up-to-date on changes in health regulatory matters.
