Nitesh N. Paryani
Nitesh is a 2nd year medical student at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Nitesh graduated with honors with an A.B. in political theory from Princeton University. As an undergradate, he was a member of the Princeton University Honor Committee. He also served as an intern for United States Senator Bob Graham. Prior to applying to medical school, Nitesh worked as a management consultant in the federal healthcare and private pay or practice of a large multinational consulting firm. In addition to serving as the FMA vice chairman, Nitesh also serves as a member of the AMA-MSS Committee on Legislation and Advocacy. He served as a member of the House Coordinating Committee at the 2007 Annual Meeting, and as an AMA Government Relations Intern in the summer of 2007. His primary interests lie in healthcare finance and legislative policy. |
